Futurity First Insurance Group, LLC recently informed the Attorney General of Maine about a data breach impacting its systems. On November 24, 2023, the company detected unusual activity within its email environment, which prompted an immediate investigation. The investigation revealed that unauthorized access had been gained through three employee and six independent agent email accounts, compromising sensitive personal information.

Following the breach, Futurity First conducted a thorough review of the affected emails to determine the exact nature of the exposed information and identify the individuals impacted.
