The compromised data included critical details such as names, Social Security numbers, and driver’s license numbers. Following the breach, Futurity First conducted a thorough review of the affected emails to determine the exact nature of the exposed information and identify the individuals impacted. This comprehensive review was completed on May 23, 2024, confirming the scope and scale of the breach.
To address the breach, Futurity First began sending out data breach notification letters on July 24, 2024. These letters provided affected individuals with detailed information about the compromised data and included an offer of complimentary credit monitoring services. The company is also offering guidance on how to enroll in these services and how to protect oneself from potential identity theft.
