Fifosys Expands with TMB Acquisition

Fifosys, a prominent player in managed IT services, has announced its acquisition of TMB (Technology Means Business), marking its third acquisition in five years and second outside London following Enforce Technology in 2021. This strategic move aims to bolster Fifosys’ service offerings and solidify its position in the IT industry, particularly across southeast England. With the addition of TMB, Fifosys now boasts a combined talent pool of over 100 staff, promising seamless continuity for existing TMB clients as integration progresses.

The acquisition reflects Fifosys’ strategic focus on meeting the growing demand for co-managed and cyber safety services. Mitesh Patel, founder and Managing Director of Fifosys, expressed enthusiasm for integrating TMB’s expertise in managed services, disaster recovery, and software development. Patel emphasized the importance of this acquisition in empowering clients with enhanced IT solutions and ensuring competitiveness in a rapidly evolving market.

TMB’s leadership, including Tina Verney and Richard Shuker, echoed excitement about joining forces with Fifosys, citing cultural alignment and shared values as key factors in their decision. They anticipate that the acquisition will benefit both staff and customers, enhancing the scope and quality of IT solutions and services offered. Fifosys, renowned for its ISO 27001 certification and extensive client base across various sectors, aims to leverage this acquisition to further de-risk businesses and optimize technology infrastructure for SMEs and mid-market enterprises.

Overall, the acquisition signifies a significant step forward for Fifosys in expanding its capabilities and market reach, poised to deliver comprehensive IT solutions and support to a broader clientele across the UK.
