The Xantaro Group, a leading European provider of high-performance networks and IT security solutions, has announced the acquisition of NetDescribe GmbH, a company specializing in automated IT solutions for performance, compliance, and security within complex infrastructures. This acquisition follows a successful strategic partnership that began in March. NetDescribe will now operate under the name “NetDescribe GmbH, Member of the Xantaro Group” reinforcing Xantaro’s commitment to expanding its service offerings, particularly for carriers, service providers, and industrial customers in Germany and the UK.

Gerold Arheilger, CEO of the Xantaro Group, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, emphasizing the perfect alignment between the two companies’ operations. He highlighted that the integration of NetDescribe’s expertise in monitoring, automation, and network security would enhance their ability to serve customers across various OSI layers. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Xantaro’s strategy to fortify its position in the market by adding leading providers to its portfolio, ultimately providing clients with a comprehensive range of services and solutions from a single source.

Elmar Prem, Managing Director of NetDescribe GmbH, noted that their specialized capabilities in network and security performance solutions complement Xantaro’s offerings effectively. He pointed out the increasing complexity faced by businesses due to compliance requirements such as NIS-2 and DORA, and how the combined services from both companies would provide clients with enhanced visibility into their IT infrastructures. The collaboration aims to alleviate the burden on network operations center (NOC) and security operations center (SOC) teams, leading to cost savings and improved operational efficiency for customers.

The Xantaro Group aims to continue designing, building, and optimizing high-performance networks for international telecommunications providers while supporting companies in establishing secure IT environments. By leveraging partnerships with leading technology firms, Xantaro specializes in network and security automation, private wireless solutions, and AI-based services for clients in the DACH region and the UK, with a commitment to enhancing operational stability and security in both on-premises and cloud settings.
