Wireshark 4.2.4 Has Been Released

Wireshark 4.2.4, the latest release from the Wireshark Foundation, introduces critical bug fixes, vulnerability resolutions, and enhanced protocol support, reaffirming its status as a leading network protocol analyzer. This iteration addresses vulnerabilities, including the T.38 dissector crash, and resolves issues with Extcap configurations, TLS secrets injection, and packet dissection CSV export, ensuring a more secure and stable network analysis environment. While Wireshark 4.2.4 does not introduce new or updated capture file support, it broadens the scope of data that can be analyzed within Wireshark, providing users with increased flexibility in their analysis tasks.
