Vooruit Brussels Website Hacked

On Thursday, April 18, 2024, the website of the Dutch-speaking socialist party Vooruit.brusselOn Thursday, April 18, 2024, the Dutch-speaking socialist party Vooruit.brussels was thrust into turmoil as its website fell victim to a malevolent cyber attack. The perpetrators, cloaked in digital anonymity, orchestrated the hijacking of the party’s online platform, forcing its abrupt removal from the internet. In a brazen display of audacity, the attackers brazenly issued ransom demands, dangling the prospect of data release in exchange for monetary compensation.
