Vanta Raises $150M for AI and Expansion

Vanta, a provider of security and compliance solutions, has announced a significant milestone with its successful Series C funding round, raising $150 million. This latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $353 million and values it at $2.45 billion. The round was led by Sequoia Capital and saw participation from several notable investors, including Goldman Sachs Alternatives, J.P. Morgan, and other prominent venture capital firms.

The funds will be used to accelerate Vanta’s expansion and drive innovation in its artificial intelligence products. Vanta’s platform is designed to automate compliance and manage security processes efficiently. Its capabilities include continuous governance, risk management, and security questionnaire automation, covering various frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and more.

Since the beginning of 2024, Vanta has surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue and currently serves over 8,000 customers, including major names like Atlassian, Intercom, and ZoomInfo. The company’s focus is on automating trust management and compliance, positioning itself as a market leader in this sector.

Christina Cacioppo, CEO of Vanta, expressed gratitude for Sequoia Capital’s continued support, highlighting how their repeated investment underlines the growing significance of trust management.
