Televerde Reports Data Breach Incident

Televerde, a sales and marketing technology firm headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, recently reported a data breach involving the unauthorized access of sensitive personal and health-related information. The breach was first discovered on December 26, 2023, when the company became aware of suspicious activity within its systems. After confirming the breach, Televerde launched an investigation to determine the scope of the incident and identify the individuals affected. The company’s investigation revealed that between December 8 and December 26, 2023, an unauthorized third party may have accessed and taken sensitive data.

The impacted information varies based on the individual but includes sensitive details such as names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, state identification numbers, medical information, and health insurance details. Upon determining the scope of the breach, Televerde began reviewing the data to identify the affected individuals. As part of its response, the company began sending data breach notification letters to the affected individuals on September 12, 2024, outlining the specific information that was exposed.

To assist those affected by the breach, Televerde is offering complimentary identity monitoring services. These services include monitoring for identity theft, as well as tools to help protect the personal information of impacted individuals. The company has also posted notice of the breach on its website, providing further details about the incident and the steps individuals can take to protect their personal information.

Founded in 1995, Televerde has grown to become a key provider of sales and marketing solutions for B2B companies. With clients such as SAP, GE, Adobe, and Securus Technologies, Televerde has generated over $12 billion in revenue for its clients. The company operates not only in the United States but also in South America and the United Kingdom, employing over 600 people across its global locations.
