TCPS, Inc. recently contacted individuals regarding a cybersecurity incident that may have exposed personal information. The company emphasized its commitment to the security and privacy of its customers, stating that there is no evidence of fraudulent misuse of the data. To address the situation, TCPS is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to all affected individuals as a precautionary measure. Enrollment instructions for these services have been provided.

After detecting the incident on June 10, 2024, TCPS immediately took action by implementing a series of containment and remediation measures. They enlisted the help of external cybersecurity experts to investigate the breach and analyze the affected data. TCPS also notified federal law enforcement and is fully cooperating with their ongoing investigation. To prevent future incidents, TCPS has strengthened its network security through enhanced administrative and technical safeguards and has provided additional cybersecurity training for its staff.

In their communication, TCPS urged individuals to remain vigilant against potential identity theft or fraud by regularly reviewing account statements and monitoring free credit reports for suspicious activity. To further safeguard personal information, they recommended following the enclosed steps for protecting data. As an additional layer of protection, TCPS is offering 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring through Experian, with an activation code provided for easy enrollment.

TCPS apologized for any inconvenience or concern the incident may cause and assured individuals that security remains a top priority for the company. They have established a dedicated helpline for those who may have further questions about the incident. The helpline is available Monday through Friday to address any concerns and assist with credit monitoring enrollment. TCPS remains committed to taking all necessary steps to safeguard personal information and strengthen their systems moving forward.
