Synergy ECP Buys SPYROS for Cyber Solutions

Synergy ECP, a firm specializing in software engineering, cybersecurity, and systems engineering for the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense, has acquired SPYROS Information & Technology Consulting. SPYROS is renowned for its work in computer network operations, critical infrastructure resilience, and 5G technology. This acquisition, supported by Falfurrias Capital Partners, aims to enhance Synergy ECP’s capabilities in cyber solutions and expand its reach within national security sectors.

SPYROS brings significant expertise in handling complex cyber challenges and offers advanced solutions in signals intelligence and special programs support. The integration of SPYROS’s services will deepen Synergy ECP’s capacity to deliver specialized cyber solutions and access key national security customers. This move complements Synergy ECP’s recent acquisition of SoftTech Solutions and furthers its mission of providing high-impact technical solutions to critical defense and intelligence operations.

John Goveia, founder and CEO of SPYROS, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, highlighting how it will accelerate their cyber solution delivery and retain top technical talent. Bruce Howard, CEO of Synergy ECP, emphasized that SPYROS enhances their ability to deliver critical solutions and provides new contract opportunities, positioning the company at the forefront of national security priorities.

Evergreen Advisors Capital acted as the sell-side advisor for SPYROS in this transaction. Synergy ECP, based in Columbia, Maryland, continues to strengthen its position as a leading provider of cybersecurity and systems engineering services. Falfurrias Capital Partners, based in Charlotte, supported this strategic acquisition, reinforcing their commitment to investing in high-growth, middle-market businesses.
