If you happen to get the following message after clicking on\u00a0<strong>Preferences,<\/strong>\u00a0don\u2019t panic! There is an easy fix. (0::42)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h4>This error appears when the temp folder of After Effects can\u2019t be override by the software. So, the best way to get rid of this is to delete such folder and After Effects will create a new one again.<\/h4>\n<ol>\n \t<li>Locate where your temp folder for After Effects is in your computer. Mine was on the following path:\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<div class="alert alert-info"><strong>LOCATE:<\/strong> C:\\Users\\[YOUR COMPUTER NAME]\\AppData\\Roaming\\Adobe\\<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<img class="size-full wp-image-918 aligncenter" src="https:\/\/cybermaterial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/adobe-delete-folder-820x420-1.png" alt="" width="820" height="420" \/>\n\n2. Look for the After Effects folder and delete it.\n\n3. Open After Effects again.
