Signature Performance, Inc., a prominent healthcare administrative solutions provider based in Omaha, recently reported a data breach incident to the Attorney General of Montana. The breach, discovered on January 18, 2024, involved an unauthorized party accessing the company’s IT network between January 17 and January 18, 2024. Signature Performance promptly notified law enforcement and engaged third-party cybersecurity specialists to investigate the incident.
The investigation confirmed that certain files containing confidential consumer information were accessed by the unauthorized party. While the company is still reviewing all compromised data, it has verified that specific consumers’ sensitive information was subject to unauthorized access.
On February 9, 2024, Signature Performance initiated the process of sending out data breach notification letters to affected individuals, providing details on the compromised information. Founded in 2004, Signature Performance processes over 1.5 million claims monthly, employs more than 1,500 people, and generates approximately $317 million in annual revenue.
