This attack had a significant impact on the school’s server and central Management Information System. However, an updated position was provided to parents and carers directly on April 26th, in order to keep them informed about the latest developments.
To ensure all parents and carers are well-informed, Saint Cecilia’s has made the Cyber Incident Parent Letter of April 26th, 2024, accessible for those who may have missed it. As part of the school’s response to the incident, children were given Emergency Contact Forms to take home unless they had already completed them in school. It’s crucial for these forms to be fully completed and returned to their mentor or Reception as soon as possible.
