Permit.io Raises $8M

Permit.io, a pioneering Israeli startup specializing in authorization technology, announces a significant milestone with the successful closure of an $8 million Series A funding round. Spearheaded by Scale Venture Partners and backed by prominent investors including Firestreak, NFX, Roosh Ventures, and Verissimo Ventures, this funding round elevates Permit.io’s total raised capital to $14 million.

Established in 2021 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, Permit.io focuses on developing a comprehensive authorization framework to empower developers in seamlessly integrating approval flows into their applications. The company’s latest offering, Approval Flows, introduces a robust solution designed to facilitate organizations in managing intricate authorizations for data access, complete with AI bot and agent support.

Key features of Approval Flows include end-to-end flow management, customization options for UI application embedding, compatibility with existing authentication and identity providers, support for fine-grained authorization, and provision of audit logs for configuration and authorization checks. Additionally, Permit.io’s platform boasts a user-friendly no-code policy editor, transparent policy generation, and APIs for policy creation, management, and automation.

The influx of $8 million in funding is earmarked to bolster Permit.io’s scalability to meet burgeoning market demand, particularly in expanding its footprint within the US market. Permit.io’s co-founder and CEO, Or Weis, underscores the company’s innovative no-code solution, which eliminates the need for dedicated resources, maintenance, and computational power in setting up authorization across diverse applications.
