PDI Technologies has announced its acquisition of Nuspire, a leading managed security services provider (MSSP). This marks PDI’s first major expansion in its cybersecurity segment since launching its security solutions business in 2020. The acquisition will enhance PDI’s offerings for convenience stores, gas stations, quick-service restaurants (QSRs), and other specialty retail locations, aiming to reduce network complexity and bolster security.
Nuspire, headquartered in Commerce, Michigan, is renowned for its extensive range of cybersecurity services, including managed detection and response (MDR), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and cybersecurity consulting. With over 25 years of experience, Nuspire has served diverse industries such as automotive dealerships and manufacturing. The integration with PDI will enable Nuspire to leverage its robust capabilities and scale its security technologies further.
Linnea Geiss, COO of PDI Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, noting that Nuspire’s innovation and service excellence will enhance PDI’s security solutions. The merger is expected to diversify PDI’s service roadmap and strengthen its position in securing the convenience retail ecosystem and beyond.
