Detected around October 28, 2023, unauthorized access to OEFCU’s network triggered swift responses, including enhanced network security protocols and a comprehensive investigation.

After thorough forensic analysis, conducted until April 1, 2024, it was determined that certain files containing personal information may have been accessed by an unauthorized party between August 19, 2023, and October 29, 2023. They are also encouraged to obtain a free credit report and maintain vigilant monitoring of their financial accounts to mitigate any potential risks. These actions are part of OEFCU’s commitment to safeguarding the privacy and security of its members’ personal information.

Despite the unfortunate incident, OEFCU reassures its members of its unwavering dedication to their financial well-being.
