Cleveland Court Closes Due to Cyber Incident

Nuna Baby Essentials, a company known for its premium baby gear, reported a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer information. The breach was discovered on February 3, 2025, after the company identified a cyberattack that had occurred on September 8, 2024. Following the discovery, Nuna Baby Essentials launched an investigation to understand the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation revealed that the attackers gained access to certain files containing confidential consumer data, impacting a total of 16,676 individuals.

The company filed a notice of the data breach with the Attorney General of Maine on February 21, 2025, as required by law.

In the notice, Nuna Baby disclosed that it had begun sending out data breach notification letters to the affected individuals. These letters outlined the types of information that had been compromised during the breach and informed the recipients of the situation. The company also emphasized its commitment to working with cybersecurity experts to better secure its systems and prevent future incidents.

Although more details on the breach are expected in the coming weeks, the initial investigation confirmed that personal consumer data was exposed. However, the specific types of information affected, such as names, addresses, or financial details, have not been fully disclosed at this time. Nuna Baby Essentials is actively working with the necessary authorities and experts to mitigate the impact and protect the affected individuals.

Nuna Baby Essentials is a premium baby gear company based in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, specializing in functional and stylish products for modern families. The company offers a range of high-quality baby essentials, such as strollers, car seats, and high chairs, and prides itself on its commitment to safety and innovation. Despite this breach, Nuna Baby remains a key player in the baby product market, employing approximately 107 people and generating around $19 million in annual revenue.
