Legends International Reports Data Breach

Legends International, LLC, a live events company based in New York, reported a data breach to the Attorney General of Massachusetts. On November 9, 2024, unauthorized activity was detected in the company’s IT systems, prompting an immediate investigation. Through this process, Legends confirmed that certain files had been accessed, exposing sensitive information to unauthorized parties. The company is working to determine the full extent of the breach and identify those affected.

The breach potentially involved sensitive personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, and financial account details. Legends has been reviewing the compromised data to assess which specific individuals were impacted by the breach. Although the information at risk varies per individual, the company has confirmed the exposure of several types of highly sensitive personal data. This has raised concerns about potential identity theft or financial fraud among affected individuals.

In response to the breach, Legends began notifying impacted individuals on April 15, 2025. Affected parties were informed about the types of sensitive information compromised and were offered 24 months of complimentary identity protection services. The company is committed to assisting those affected by the breach and ensuring that appropriate steps are taken to protect their personal information in the future. Legends is also continuing to monitor the situation to prevent similar incidents.

Legends International, LLC was founded in 2008 and offers a variety of services for fans and guests worldwide. These services include hospitality, attendance planning, partnership deals, merchandising, and ticket sales. The company has a strong global presence with offices in several countries, including England, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Despite this breach, Legends remains a major player in the live events industry, providing memorable experiences for sports and entertainment fans.
