John Richard Collection Reports Data Breach

On February 14, 2024, The John-Richard Collection, LLC (John-Richard) identified suspicious activity within its network, which led the company to launch a thorough investigation. The company worked swiftly to assess the situation, restore affected systems, and determine the scope of the breach. Although there is no evidence suggesting that any fraud or misuse of information occurred, John-Richard notified individuals whose personal data may have been exposed during the incident, including Social Security numbers, financial details, and passport numbers.

The breach investigation revealed that unauthorized access to certain systems occurred between January 18 and February 14, 2024. John-Richard reviewed the accessed data and identified that personal information related to certain individuals, including names and financial details, could have been compromised. Although no fraudulent activity has been detected, the company took precautionary measures by alerting potentially affected individuals to protect their information and reduce any potential risks.

To mitigate the impact of the breach, John-Richard has taken immediate action by enhancing security protocols and offering resources to help affected individuals monitor and safeguard their personal data. The company has implemented additional technical security measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. Furthermore, John-Richard is reviewing its internal policies and processes to strengthen its overall data security and access controls.

As part of its commitment to safeguarding customer data, John-Richard continues to prioritize privacy and security. The company is working closely with regulatory authorities and remains focused on providing affected individuals with the necessary support. The company is committed to learning from this incident and making continuous improvements to prevent future breaches, ensuring that customer data remains secure moving forward.
