The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity content. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and will use this knowledge to create compelling content, engage with our audience, and build our brand’s reputation as a thought leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to the cybersecurity industry.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Content Creation:
- Work with the team to create and curate high-quality, engaging content related to cybersecurity, including articles, infographics, videos, and podcasts.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to generate technical content that translates complex concepts into accessible and engaging posts.
- Community Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering a positive and informative community atmosphere.
- Engage with followers, industry influencers, and stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare regular reports on social media activities, growth, and engagement metrics.
- Brand Management:
- Ensure all social media content aligns with the company’s brand voice and messaging.
- Maintain consistency across all social media channels.
- Trends and Innovations:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and cybersecurity.
- Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve social media performance.
- Organize monthly online events and participate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Experience in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably within the cybersecurity or technology sectors.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and industry terminology.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Experience working with Canva or graphic design tools
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English Skills
- India Full-time working Hours (Monday – Friday) – 4PM – 12AM Indian Time
- Available to have 1 team call a day (during EST hours)
- Candidates from other countries can still apply but must be able to work during EST hours and have a stable internet connection.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with digital marketing strategies and SEO.
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and blogging platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
