Indigo Sky Casino Data Security Incident

Indigo Sky Casino and Resort, in conjunction with Outpost Casino, have disclosed a data security incident, informing individuals of potential exposure of personal information due to unusual network activity. The casinos, situated northeast of Tulsa, detected the issue promptly, launching an internal investigation, securing systems, and involving law enforcement. Subsequent forensic analysis confirmed an unknown third party’s unauthorized access to certain documents, potentially containing employee details such as names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and medical information. While banking or financial information remained unaffected, affected individuals are being notified, provided with credit monitoring, and advised to stay vigilant against potential fraud or identity theft.

As a precaution, Indigo Sky mailed notification letters to affected individuals, offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection. The disclosed information indicates that the compromised documents did not include banking or financial details, focusing primarily on employee personal information like names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and medical data. The incident triggered immediate internal actions, including securing systems and involving law enforcement for further investigation. Affected individuals are urged to closely monitor account statements and credit reports, promptly reporting any suspicious activities or suspected identity theft to relevant authorities.

Indigo Sky Casino and Resort, located near Tulsa, and Outpost Casino, situated northwest of Seneca, Missouri, implemented precautionary measures following the discovery of the data security incident. The compromised documents, accessed by an unidentified third party, contained personal information of employees, excluding banking details. The casinos are actively engaging with affected individuals, providing necessary notifications, and advising on protective measures against potential fraud or identity theft, while offering complimentary credit monitoring services.
