Huntress Closes $150M Series D Funding Round

Huntress has successfully closed a $150 million Series D funding round led by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, and Sapphire Ventures. This substantial investment aims to bolster Huntress’ capabilities in endpoint, identity, cloud, and SaaS security research, alongside strategic acquisitions. The funding underscores Huntress’ commitment to fortifying businesses crucial to the global economy against cyber threats.

In addition to advancing their Managed Security Platform with autonomous capabilities, Huntress plans to scale its go-to-market efforts, targeting underserved markets vulnerable to cyberattacks. CEO Kyle Hanslovan emphasizes the mission to democratize access to enterprise-grade security tools, typically out of reach for smaller businesses, thus empowering them to protect against sophisticated threats.

Huntress has experienced rapid growth, achieving over 70% year-over-year revenue growth for two consecutive years. Their leadership in endpoint detection and response, as recognized by industry and customer accolades, positions them as a leader in the cybersecurity space. With nearly 3.5 million endpoints and identities protected, Huntress continues to innovate and expand its reach, driven by customer satisfaction and demand.

The Series D round not only supports Huntress’ ambitious growth trajectory towards $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) but also validates their pivotal role in addressing the cybersecurity needs of SMBs and managed service providers. Backed by strong investor confidence from Sapphire Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, and Meritech Capital, Huntress aims to further strengthen its platform and community, ensuring robust security solutions for businesses worldwide.
