Gilmer County Hit by Ransomware

Gilmer County in Georgia experienced a ransomware attack, leading to disruptions in multiple services, as announced on Tuesday. The county’s government website confirmed the incident, stating that affected systems have been taken offline while efforts are underway to secure and restore services safely. Despite the response to the attack, delays are expected as investigations continue to determine the full extent of the impact.
