Dataprise Expands with Hooks Systems

Dataprise, a prominent provider of managed IT services and cybersecurity solutions, has announced its acquisition of Hooks Systems, an established IT service provider based in Wilmington, North Carolina. This strategic move marks Dataprise’s expansion into the Carolinas, enhancing its presence along the East Coast while offering Hooks Systems’ clientele access to Dataprise’s comprehensive IT and cybersecurity services.

Founded in 1995, Hooks Systems has earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality IT solutions to 165 clients across North Carolina. By joining forces with Dataprise, Hooks Systems’ clients now have access to a broader range of services including world-class cybersecurity, data protection, and cloud solutions aimed at modernizing and securing businesses.

William Flannery, CEO of Dataprise, emphasized the strategic fit between the two companies, citing Hooks Systems’ local expertise and customer dedication as pivotal in expanding Dataprise’s regional footprint. Gerald Hooks, CEO of Hooks Systems, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, foreseeing growth opportunities for both employees and clients under Dataprise’s umbrella. Together, the unified entity aims to deepen client relationships and expand service offerings, leveraging enterprise-grade technologies and scalable cybersecurity solutions.

Christian Fulmino, SVP of M&A at Dataprise, highlighted the acquisition’s significance in strengthening Dataprise’s market position on the East Coast, particularly in Wilmington and surrounding areas experiencing rapid growth. The move underscores Dataprise’s commitment to delivering top-tier technology services with a personalized approach, ensuring continued success in serving strategic CIOs and IT leaders across the United States.
