Cympire Secures IDF Tender for Training

Israeli cybersecurity startup Cympire has made headlines by winning a significant tender from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to provide cutting-edge cybersecurity simulation platforms. This initiative aims to enhance the training of military personnel in confronting the growing threats in the digital realm. Cympire’s solution is set to play a crucial role in equipping IDF cyber units with the necessary skills to navigate and counter advanced cyber threats effectively.

Under the contract, Cympire will supply its advanced cybersecurity training and assessment platform, integrated with innovative Cyber Range technology. This will include comprehensive online training content and services, allowing military personnel to engage in realistic training scenarios that simulate the complexity of modern cyberattacks. Founded in 2020, Cympire has quickly established itself as a leader in cybersecurity training solutions, focusing on providing hyper-realistic environments that mimic real-world challenges faced by military and government organizations.

Cympire’s platform is designed to meet the needs of various sectors, including military, government, enterprise, and higher education. The company emphasizes its commitment to ensuring that users can “train-as-they-fight,” which is essential for maintaining mission-critical readiness. CEO Yaniv Shachar expressed pride in being selected by the IDF for this important project, highlighting the platform’s capabilities in building robust cyber defense skills.

The partnership with the IDF not only underscores Cympire’s expertise but also enhances the military’s ability to respond to evolving cyber threats. Notable figures such as Maj. Gen. Neil S. Hersey and Bob Flores, former senior advisors from U.S. military and intelligence backgrounds, have praised Cympire’s platform for its effectiveness in simulating realistic cyber scenarios. This collaboration marks a significant step in bolstering the cybersecurity defenses of one of the world’s most dynamic military environments.
