Command Zero, an Austin-based startup founded in 2021, has officially launched with $21 million in seed funding. The company uses automation and AI to speed up and improve cybersecurity investigations, offering a platform that helps security operations teams handle complex incidents more efficiently.
The platform is designed to alleviate the bottleneck in security operations caused by slow and manual investigations. By automating processes and utilizing advanced Language Learning Models (LLMs), Command Zero assists teams in interpreting data and generating comprehensive reports. This significantly reduces the resources and time needed to conduct thorough investigations.
Command Zero’s solution combines expert investigative questions with user-led and autonomous methods in a federated data model. It helps organizations streamline threat hunting, improves institutional knowledge, and enables continuous operations, making it easier to keep up with attackers who rapidly adopt new technologies.
The $21 million investment round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with additional support from Insight Partners and over 60 angel investors. The funds will help Command Zero continue refining its platform and expand its capabilities to meet the growing demand for faster, more accurate cybersecurity solutions.
