Adobe, the software giant based in Silicon Valley, has released patches to address critical flaws in multiple products. One of the main focuses was Adobe Commerce, previously known as Magento, which had twelve identified security problems.
These vulnerabilities could potentially result in code execution attacks, security feature bypass, and unauthorized access to the file system. Adobe also highlighted that the Magento Open Source product is susceptible to the same documented issues.
Furthermore, Adobe addressed four identified bugs in their Adobe Experience Manager software, which could be exploited by attackers. The company emphasized that these updates resolve vulnerabilities rated as important and moderate, with successful exploitation potentially leading to arbitrary code execution and bypassing of security features.
In addition, critical flaws in Adobe Animate and Adobe Substance 3D Designer were also addressed in the Patch Tuesday rollout, as they posed risks of code execution.
Despite the severity of these flaws, Adobe stated that they were not aware of any active exploits targeting these vulnerabilities in the wild. The prompt release of these patches reflects Adobe’s commitment to ensuring the security and protection of their products.
By promptly addressing these issues, Adobe aims to safeguard users from potential risks associated with code execution attacks and other security breaches.
