Confidential documents from Microsoft have been leaked, revealing an extensive product roadmap and design details. The leak includes information about a forthcoming all-digital Xbox Series X console refresh, an upgraded controller with enhanced haptic feedback, and a lineup of new game releases planned for 2024.

These documents, marked as confidential, originated from a legal dispute between Microsoft and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and they were accidentally left unredacted. The leak, which also outlines Microsoft’s plans until 2030, follows two recent security incidents involving the company.

Furthermore, the leaked documents have provided gamers with valuable insights into Microsoft’s Xbox plans, although there is the possibility that the information may be outdated, originating from early 2022.

Additionally, the Xbox Series X is set to undergo a refresh codenamed “Brooklin,” featuring a circular design without a DVD drive, increased storage (2TB), and an all-digital approach, with a projected launch in November 2024. Moreover, a new controller, named “Sebile,” is expected to launch around May 2024, boasting advanced haptic feedback, modular thumbsticks, rechargeable batteries, and innovative features like lift-to-wake.

Microsoft’s truly next-gen console is anticipated for 2028, with plans to decide on the CPU architecture, balance CPU cores, and introduce next-generation Raytracing technology, among other advancements.

Additionally, the leak discloses a game release schedule that includes titles like Indiana Jones, Doom Year Zero and DLCs, The Elder Scrolls VI, Project Kestrel with an expansion, Fallout 3 Remaster, Dishonored 3, Project Platinum, and more. The leaked documents suggest that Xbox Gaming CSA revenues are projected to reach $36 billion by 2030.
