Poland Under Net Worker Cyber Threat

Poland has faced another cyber attack, believed to be orchestrated by the “Net Worker Alliance” threat group. This recent cyber attack targeted significant websites in Poland, including the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Warsaw Chopin Airport, PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, and Port of Gdynia Authority S.A.

The “Net Worker Alliance” hacker group has taken responsibility for this attack, raising concerns about the country’s cybersecurity readiness in the wake of previous attacks, such as the NoName Ransomware Gang incident. The “Net Worker Alliance” is a Pro-Russian hacker collective with elusive motivations and origins, known for targeting various entities with cyber attacks, including Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and server compromises.

However, the authenticity of this particular cyber attack on Poland is under scrutiny, given the group’s history of mistaking targets and the uncertain nature of its claims.
