The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed certain MSX International systems between February 2, 2023, and February 6, 2023, potentially compromising confidential consumer information.
After identifying the breach, MSX International reviewed the compromised files to determine the extent of the leaked information and which consumers were impacted.
At the same time, on May 1, 2023, this review was completed, revealing that sensitive consumer data, including names and Social Security numbers, was accessible to the unauthorized party. Consequently, on July 20, 2023, MSX International sent out data breach notification letters to all individuals affected by the security incident.
