Indigo Neo Cyberattack Exposes User Data

On April 17, 2025, Indigo Neo, a parking app, informed clients of a cyberattack affecting personal data. The breach, which targeted information like email addresses, license plates, and phone numbers, did not expose bank details or passwords. Indigo Neo immediately contacted cybersecurity experts, strengthened their security systems, and filed a complaint with the authorities. Although no fraudulent activity has been reported so far, users in France and Luxembourg were advised to change their passwords as a precautionary measure.

The attack did not result in the theft of sensitive financial information but compromised users’ personal data. The company reassured its customers that their Indigo Neo accounts and websites are functioning as usual. The authorities were promptly notified, and cybersecurity efforts were enhanced to prevent further issues. Indigo Neo encouraged users to remain vigilant against suspicious communication, such as phishing emails or text messages asking for personal information.

Indigo France emphasized that no financial data, passwords, or access codes were affected in the breach. The company also highlighted that no fraudulent use of exposed data had been reported at the time. Customers were reminded to avoid replying to suspicious emails, and were urged to destroy any unsolicited messages immediately. The company also reassured users that they would never ask for banking or password information via email or phone.

Indigo Neo’s security team is closely monitoring the situation to ensure data protection and mitigate future risks. The company’s prompt response and actions reflect their commitment to safeguarding customer privacy. Users are encouraged to take the necessary precautions, including password changes, while Indigo continues to resolve the matter.
