Friedman & Huey Associates LLP has notified individuals about a recent incident that may have affected the privacy of their personal information. While the firm has not confirmed any actual or attempted misuse of the data, it aims to inform affected parties about the situation, the firm’s response, and recommended protective measures. The organization emphasizes its commitment to data security and is currently reviewing its policies and procedures to enhance its systems and safeguard sensitive information.

Upon discovering the incident, Friedman & Huey initiated a thorough review of its network and implemented additional security measures to mitigate any potential risks. The firm is offering complimentary access to credit monitoring services through Experian for 24 months, encouraging affected individuals to enroll in these services themselves, as they cannot do so on their behalf. The letter provided to individuals includes resources designed to assist them in protecting their identity.

In addition to credit monitoring, the firm has made available the Experian IdentityWorks service, which provides identity restoration support if fraudulent use of personal information occurs. Individuals are advised to reach out to Experian agents if they suspect their information has been misused, as these agents can assist in resolving issues related to identity theft. The identity restoration assistance is accessible for 24 months from the date of the incident, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to supporting affected individuals.

Friedman & Huey associates want individuals to remain vigilant regarding their personal information and have reiterated the importance of utilizing fraud detection tools offered through Experian IdentityWorks. By providing these services, the firm aims to help individuals protect their identities and mitigate any risks associated with the potential breach. The organization continues to work diligently to restore its network and enhance its security measures, prioritizing the privacy and security of personal information.
