Mitiga Raises 30 Million for Cloud Security

Mitiga, a cybersecurity startup focused on providing threat detection, investigation, and response tools for cloud and SaaS environments, has successfully raised $30 million in its Series B funding round. The round was led by SYN Ventures, bringing the total amount raised by Mitiga to $75 million. Additional contributions came from venture capital firms including ClearSky, Atlantic Bridge, Flint Capital, DNX Ventures, and Glilot Capital Partners. This influx of capital will enable Mitiga to expand its operations across North America and Europe while continuing to enhance its AI-powered platform.

The company’s technology is designed to improve the security posture of businesses by offering tools that integrate with various cloud and SaaS services.

Mitiga’s platform includes a forensic data lake for storing and analyzing data from a range of SaaS products. It also features automated tools for breach readiness assessments and proactive forensic data acquisition. These tools aim to help organizations stay ahead of potential threats by providing real-time insights into security risks and enabling faster responses to breaches.

Mitiga’s platform also provides automated threat hunting capabilities and cloud incident response management, which help businesses speed up investigations and minimize the impact of security incidents. With a focus on efficiency, Mitiga claims its solution reduces response times by over 90% compared to traditional cybersecurity approaches. This enhancement in response time is critical for organizations, as it allows them to mitigate damage quickly and reduce the risk of further exploitation.

Looking forward, Mitiga plans to invest in expanding its sales and marketing teams to support its growth initiatives. The company will also continue to develop additional integrations with cloud and SaaS providers and build strategic alliances to extend its reach in the global market. The new funding will help Mitiga accelerate these efforts, positioning it to offer more advanced solutions and better serve businesses looking to safeguard their cloud environments against an increasingly complex threat landscape.
