Falvey Linen Supply Notifies of Data Breach

Falvey Linen Supply, Inc. has recently notified individuals about a security incident involving the potential exposure of personal information. The company emphasized that safeguarding the confidentiality and security of personal data is a high priority. Upon becoming aware of the event, Falvey took swift action to secure the affected systems and began an investigation into the nature of the breach. Additionally, the company has implemented further security measures and is reviewing its policies to enhance protection against future incidents.

As part of its response, Falvey Linen Supply also notified federal law enforcement and has initiated steps to ensure that the event does not result in further compromise. The company has offered affected individuals a range of protective measures, including 24 months of free credit monitoring and identity restoration services through IDX. Instructions for enrollment in these services, as well as guidance on how individuals can further protect themselves against identity theft and fraud, have been provided in the notice.

To take advantage of the credit monitoring services, individuals are advised to scan a provided QR code or visit the IDX website to complete their enrollment. The deadline for enrollment is December 25, 2024, and individuals must activate their credit monitoring membership for it to be effective. For those who require assistance, IDX customer service is available via phone to provide additional guidance on how to protect credit and personal information.

Falvey Linen Supply also encourages individuals to remain vigilant by regularly reviewing their account statements and monitoring their credit reports for any suspicious activity. The notice reminds individuals of their right to request free annual credit reports from the three major credit bureaus, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. These proactive steps are meant to help individuals detect and address any potential identity theft or fraud issues early.
