CSIS Security Group has acquired Security Alliance Limited (SecAlliance) as part of its strategy to establish itself as a European leader in intelligence-driven cybersecurity services. The acquisition strengthens CSIS’s offerings in Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Emergency Incident Response, and Offensive Security Consulting. SecAlliance’s expertise in Managed Threat Intelligence Services and intelligence-sharing networks complements CSIS’s capabilities, enabling the combined entity to provide enhanced threat detection, awareness, and response solutions.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2003, CSIS is known for its services to enterprise and mid-market companies, including major banks and global corporations. As part of the Allurity group since 2022, CSIS benefits from backing by Trill Impact, which focuses on ESG-aligned businesses. Meanwhile, London-based SecAlliance, established in 2007, specializes in high-quality threat intelligence for financial institutions, government agencies, and critical infrastructure operators. Its ThreatMatch platform and collaborative approach set it apart in the cybersecurity industry.

The acquisition is expected to drive significant benefits for customers, combining CSIS’s technological strengths with SecAlliance’s strategic and tactical intelligence services. Daniel Shepherd, CEO of CSIS, emphasized the importance of a mature cyber intelligence capability to enhance clients’ security resilience. Rob Dartnall, CEO of SecAlliance, highlighted the synergy between the two companies and their shared vision for delivering impactful and client-focused cybersecurity solutions.

The partnership comes amid rising global demand for cybersecurity services, with the MDR market projected to grow to $11.8 billion by 2029 and the threat intelligence market to reach $24.9 billion by 2032. While the two companies will initially operate as separate entities, plans are in place to align their organization and service delivery models over time. Together, CSIS and SecAlliance aim to combat cybercrime more effectively and contribute to creating a safer digital world.
