CloudWorks Inc., a Japanese company, has alerted users about fake websites misappropriating parts of its official site. One of the fraudulent sites identified is called “JobKaleido,” which falsely claims to be affiliated with CloudWorks. These sites have no connection to the company and are operating without authorization. The company has urged users to exercise caution and avoid entering personal information or making payments on these deceptive platforms.

In its warning, CloudWorks reassured users that these fake websites are entirely separate from its official services. It emphasized that no personal data or financial transactions should be conducted on such sites, as they may lead to scams or identity theft. The company has expressed its concern over the potential harm these malicious websites could cause to its customers and brand reputation.

For those who may have fallen victim to these fraudulent websites, CloudWorks recommends reporting the incident to local authorities or the Consumer Affairs Agency in Japan. Users are encouraged to contact the nearest police station or file a complaint with the agency to prevent further damage and help others avoid similar situations. The company has provided helpful links to both the Metropolitan Police Department’s internet troubles page and the Consumer Affairs Agency’s consumer troubles page.

CloudWorks has urged its users to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities they encounter related to these fake websites. By doing so, users can help protect themselves and others from the risks associated with online fraud. The company remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of its services, and it continues to work with relevant authorities to address the issue of misused websites.
