PM Concepts, LLC, operating as Amata Life, informed individuals of a potential data security incident that may have resulted in unauthorized access to sensitive personal information. This notification followed a previous email sent on July 25, 2024, regarding a “Potential Security Issue.” Although Amata Life is not aware of any fraudulent use of the data, the company emphasizes its commitment to data protection and is providing affected individuals with essential details about the incident, including steps taken in response and resources available for safeguarding personal information.

The breach was detected on July 23, 2024, when Amata Life noticed suspicious activity within its e-commerce environment, occurring between July 11 and July 23, 2024. In response, the company immediately initiated an investigation that revealed an unauthorized third party may have acquired personal information from its systems. Amata Life conducted a thorough review to determine the specific data involved and identified individuals whose sensitive information might have been compromised. Although no specific evidence of misuse has been reported, the company chose to notify affected parties to maintain transparency.

The potentially compromised data includes personal information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and credit card numbers combined with CVV numbers. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, Amata Life acted swiftly to disable relevant accounts and collaborated with third-party specialists to enhance security measures. In its ongoing commitment to information privacy, the company is offering impacted individuals access to Single Bureau Credit Monitoring services at no cost for twelve months, enabling them to receive alerts for any changes to their credit files.

To assist individuals in protecting themselves, Amata Life encourages vigilance against identity theft and fraud. The company advises reviewing account statements, monitoring credit reports for unauthorized activity, and contacting financial institutions and major credit bureaus to inform them of the breach. Additionally, individuals are provided with resources and instructions for enrolling in the complimentary credit monitoring services to ensure they remain aware of any potential misuse of their information. Amata Life expresses its deep concern regarding the incident and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
