Loge Holdings LLC, operating as LOGE Camps, experienced a data breach that compromised sensitive consumer information. The breach occurred after unauthorized access to company email accounts between November 27 and December 15, 2023. The exposed information includes names, Social Security numbers, financial account and payment card details, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, medical and health information, electronic signatures, and dates of birth. On August 23, 2024, LOGE reported the breach to the Attorney General of Maine and sent notification letters to affected individuals.

The breach was first detected on December 15, 2023, when LOGE noticed suspicious activity within its email system. The company immediately secured its network, notified law enforcement, and launched an investigation to determine the extent of the breach and the specific information compromised. Following the investigation, it was revealed that consumer data was accessible to unauthorized individuals during the incident, prompting a thorough review of the affected files.

LOGE sent out data breach notification letters to all individuals whose information was potentially exposed. These letters provided details about the compromised data, giving recipients the information they needed to protect themselves from identity theft and other potential risks. The company has not yet released additional details about the breach but continues to cooperate with law enforcement in its investigation.

Loge Holdings LLC, based in Bend, Washington, is a hospitality company that refurbishes older motels and creates camping spaces in various locations. With properties across multiple states, including Washington, Montana, and Utah, the company employs more than 37 people and generates approximately $5 million in annual revenue. This data breach highlights the importance of cybersecurity, particularly in companies handling sensitive customer information.
