Exiger, a leader in supply chain and third-party risk management using AI, announced its acquisition of XSB, a logistics intelligence platform. XSB’s proprietary AI-based applications transform unstructured data into actionable insights, widely used across government agencies, including the Defense Industrial Base. The acquisition combines Exiger’s AI and data capabilities with XSB’s engineering analytics platform to provide a comprehensive solution for logistics and supply chain management.

XSB’s platform is renowned for its extensive catalog of 100 million parts and 400 million part attributes, ranging from military gear to weapons systems. This dataset is integral to the U.S. Federal Government, helping to address challenges like depot maintenance, parts obsolescence, and supply chain optimization. Exiger sees this acquisition as a way to offer enhanced capabilities within a centralized platform, meeting the growing demand for AI-driven solutions.

With XSB’s dataset, Exiger will help government customers improve efficiency, speed, and execution while reducing counterfeit loss, manufacturing costs, and the impact of outdated parts. Thousands of engineers and supply chain professionals already rely on XSB’s tools to prevent disruptions, identify alternative parts, and ensure regulatory compliance. The acquisition strengthens Exiger’s ability to streamline supply chain risk management and ensure reliability throughout the product lifecycle.

According to Exiger’s leadership, this acquisition eliminates the need for standalone logistics systems by integrating XSB’s capabilities within a broader risk management platform. By combining Exiger’s multi-tier orchestration with XSB’s logistics intelligence, the company aims to accelerate the design, build, and procurement process across various systems, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
