In January 2024, Designed Receivable Solutions, Inc. (DRSI) detected suspicious activity within its network, leading to an investigation that revealed unauthorized access to certain files containing sensitive personal information. The investigation, aided by a specialized cybersecurity firm, identified that the breach involved names, addresses, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers. The affected data was identified by March 13, 2024, although there is no evidence that the information has been misused.
DRSI promptly responded by securing its network and enhancing its security measures. The company emphasizes that the protection of personal data is a top priority and has taken steps to ensure that such incidents do not recur. Additionally, DRSI is working closely with Armstrong, a healthcare client, to notify affected individuals of the breach.
As a precaution, DRSI is offering impacted individuals complimentary access to Single Bureau Credit Monitoring services, which will alert them to any changes in their credit files over the next 12 months. This service includes proactive fraud assistance provided by Cyberscout, a TransUnion company, to help individuals address any concerns related to potential fraud.
DRSI’s commitment to transparency and data security is evident in their swift response and the comprehensive measures taken to mitigate the impact of the breach. The company continues to monitor the situation closely and remains dedicated to safeguarding the personal information of its clients and their patients.
