Monowar Hossain, a meteorologist at BMD, highlighted the seriousness of the incident, stating, “We’ve successfully recovered the website after the hack. However, we are currently assessing the extent of any damage caused to our server.” The breach underscores the vulnerability of critical public services to cyber threats and has prompted an immediate investigation to determine the perpetrators.
