SHI Acquires Locuz for IT Expansion

SHI International Corp., a global leader in technology solutions, has announced its acquisition of Locuz Enterprise Solutions Limited, a prominent Indian firm specializing in cybersecurity and digital transformation services. This strategic move aims to bolster SHI’s managed services capabilities by integrating Locuz’s fully managed Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC), enhancing global security, data center operations, and cloud practices. The acquisition, expected to finalize in Q3 2024 pending customary approvals, will also see Locuz’s 800+ skilled employees join SHI’s workforce, reinforcing its commitment to delivering advanced managed services and expanding offshore capabilities.

Thai Lee, SHI’s President and CEO, emphasized that the acquisition of Locuz is a significant investment in customer success, positioning SHI to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to meet diverse global IT needs effectively. This strategic alignment is poised to meet the escalating demand for enhanced operational management, hosting, and infrastructure services critical for navigating the digital and AI-driven landscape. The integration of Locuz’s established security and cloud expertise, along with their advanced service capabilities, is set to deliver robust and innovative solutions for SHI’s clientele worldwide.

Locuz’s leadership, including President Uttam Majumdar and Managing Director Vijay Wadhi, views the acquisition as a pivotal moment that will open new avenues for growth and innovation.
