UTS Empowers Nonprofits in Cyber

The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has launched a CyberSecurity Program specifically catering to immigrants and low socio-economic communities in Australia, funded by the Kyndryl Foundation. This initiative aims to offer comprehensive training and job placement support to individuals seeking a career transition into cybersecurity, whether they come from IT or non-IT backgrounds. The program features flexible formats, including part-time and full-time options, as well as remote learning opportunities, leveraging cutting-edge technology for an immersive educational experience.

Designed meticulously, the UTS CyberSecurity Program equips participants with practical skills essential for cybersecurity roles, such as analysts, penetration testers, or security operations consultants. Upon completion, participants receive certifications from both UTS and the Institute of Data, enhancing their employability and credibility within the industry. Moreover, the program emphasizes practical training, preparing professionals to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges while fostering innovation and generating effective business solutions.

Beyond its structured curriculum, the program facilitates networking, mentorship, and industry connections to augment participants’ professional prospects. With enrollment for the next program opening in June 2024, prospective participants can anticipate a tailored learning journey aligned with the demands of the cybersecurity domain. For those interested, inquiries regarding fees, eligibility, and enrollment procedures can be directed to career consultants, as Australia anticipates a surge in cybersecurity salaries, making this program a valuable opportunity for career advancement in the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity.
