Currently leading a combined executive role as CIO – Global Functions and IRM, and Group CISO at Shell. In this remit I am leading a natural team of over 2,000 IT professionals to transform the digital landscape of 22+ global functional organisations across Shell supporting 80k employees. As CISO, I am accountable for the Cyber Security and Information Risk posture of the company and driving our global security strategy.

For nearly three years, I was the Group Chief Information Officer of Petrofac, which is a leading FTSE-listed global oilfield service and EPC company. In this remit I shaped and lead a full digital transformation of the company, rebuilt cyber, and delivered award winning digital products.

Before joining Petrofac, I spent 15 years with General Electric where I had an accelerated and diverse career with experience in international executive IT leadership, global restructuring/business transformation, senior operations leadership, global audit & controllership, growing businesses/JVs in emerging markets, and IT finance across several multi-billion-dollar businesses. My most recent roles at GE included Global Executive CIO remits in Power and Oil&Gas EPC; in addition to helping to drive the digital industrial transformation.

I have a proven track record of seeking out and tackling complex business problems and consistently delivering sustainable change and business value. My specialties are driving operational excellence, delivering complex business transformations, digital product development, improving business performance with technology, building high performing /diverse teams, and leading digital transformations.
