Upon learning of the incident, TGC promptly initiated an investigation to assess the nature and impact of the breach, which revealed that personal data had been exposed to the unauthorized actor around June 23, 2024.
As the investigation unfolded, TGC determined that a range of sensitive personal information may have been accessed, including names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account numbers, and previous W-2 forms.
