Sublime Security Raises $60M in Series B

Sublime Security, a Washington, D.C.-based startup focused on email security, has raised $60 million in Series B funding, bringing its total funding to $93.8 million. The investment was led by IVP, Citi Ventures, Index Ventures, Decibel Partners, and Slow Ventures. This latest round of funding reflects the growing demand for robust email security solutions, particularly as businesses continue to face increasing threats from cybercriminals targeting email systems.

Sublime offers a programmable email security platform designed to protect organizations using Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. The platform combines AI-driven detection with a customizable rules engine, providing comprehensive protection against phishing, malware, and targeted Business Email Compromise (BEC). The company’s technology enables security teams to perform threat hunting, automatically triage user-reported emails, and take action such as quarantining suspicious messages or inserting warning banners.

Since its Series A raise just seven months ago, Sublime has experienced rapid growth, quadrupling its customer base. Notable enterprise clients, including Elastic, Benteler, and Cribl, have adopted the company’s solutions. Additionally, existing clients such as Spotify, Reddit, and Brex continue to rely on Sublime’s technology to secure their email systems. The platform’s ability to scale and customize for enterprise needs has been a key factor in its success.

Sublime also offers flexibility for organizations by providing a self-hosted version of its Core Platform for free at any scale. Additionally, the first 100 inboxes are free for organizations using the SaaS version of the platform. With the new funding, Sublime aims to continue expanding its customer base, enhance its product offerings, and remain at the forefront of the email security market.
