Realm.Security, a cybersecurity startup based in Boston, has raised $5 million in seed funding to help organizations better manage the increasing volume of security data. The company, founded by cybersecurity veterans Peter Martin, Sanket Choksey, and Jeff Kraemer, aims to solve the growing problem of data overload faced by security teams. The seed round was backed by Accomplice and Glasswing Ventures.
The company’s platform integrates and manages cybersecurity data from various sources and formats by leveraging artificial intelligence and advanced data processing technologies. Realm.Security’s goal is to normalize, suppress, route, and enrich data, ensuring that the right information is delivered to the right tools and teams in real time. This approach enhances operational resilience and streamlines data flow, which is crucial for effective cybersecurity management.
Realm’s solution is designed to easily integrate with popular cybersecurity tools and products from companies like AWS, Microsoft, Okta, Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Snowflake, and Cisco. This compatibility makes it an adaptable and scalable solution for organizations of all sizes, helping them manage data from diverse systems seamlessly.
Peter Martin, CEO of Realm.Security, highlights that the volume of security data has surged by 300% to 500% in the past two years, making it increasingly difficult for security teams to manage. The platform aims to address this challenge, especially as the shortage of qualified information security analysts exacerbates the issue. Realm’s solution is focused on easing the burden of security data management while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations.
