Pentera, a leader in Automated Security Validation, has raised $60 million in a Series D funding round led by Evolution Equity Partners, with participation from Farallon Capital Management. This investment brings the company’s total funding to $250 million and positions it for further expansion as it aims to surpass $200 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). Since its last funding round in 2021, Pentera has grown its ARR by 300% and doubled its customer base.

The evolving cybersecurity landscape, increasingly shaped by AI-driven threats, demands continuous validation of security defenses.

Pentera addresses this challenge by offering a platform that emulates real-world attack techniques, allowing organizations to identify and remediate vulnerabilities across on-premises, web-facing, and multi-cloud environments. The platform supports Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), helping enterprises strengthen their defenses against sophisticated cyber threats.

With over 1,100 customers, including major brands like Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Virgin Atlantic, Pentera plans to use the new funding to accelerate AI-driven innovation. Expand its U.S. presence, and explore strategic mergers and acquisitions to consolidate the security validation market.

The investment underscores Pentera’s leadership in redefining enterprise security testing and validation practices.

Pentera CEO Amitai Ratzon highlighted the company’s mission to help security teams stay ahead of automated threats. Investors, including Evolution Equity Partners and Farallon Capital Management, expressed confidence in Pentera’s strong market traction and its transformative approach to cybersecurity validation.

About Pentera:

Pentera is a leading provider of Automated Security Validation, helping organizations proactively test their cybersecurity defenses against real-world threats. Its platform continuously identifies and prioritizes exploitable security gaps across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, enabling security teams to strengthen their defenses before attackers can exploit vulnerabilities. Trusted by over 1,100 enterprises worldwide, including major brands like Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Virgin Atlantic, Pentera plays a critical role in modern cybersecurity strategies. By integrating AI-driven testing and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), the company empowers businesses to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.
