As part of their response, Paratus focused on safeguarding key systems, including (083) services and select cloud-hosted environments.
This was done to minimize any additional service outages or operational disruptions. To support their recovery efforts, the company enlisted the help of international cybersecurity specialists who are working to restore the compromised infrastructure and data.
Andrew Hall, the managing director of Paratus Namibia, emphasized the company’s commitment to addressing the situation and ensuring that customer data remains secure. Hall assured customers that they deeply regret any inconvenience caused by the attack and are working diligently to resolve the issue.
