Cantey Tech Acquires NCG in Roanoke

Cantey Tech, a prominent IT managed service provider focused on small and mid-sized businesses in the southeastern United States, has expanded its footprint by acquiring Network Computing Group (NCG), based in Roanoke, Virginia. This acquisition is part of Cantey Tech’s strategic initiative to strengthen its managed services portfolio and enhance client offerings, particularly in areas like security and project management. With previous successful acquisitions in Florida and South Carolina, integrating NCG allows Cantey Tech to leverage its robust team of over 120 employees and extend its service capabilities to a broader client base.

Willis Cantey, CEO of Cantey Tech, expressed enthusiasm about the cultural alignment between the two companies and emphasized their commitment to providing seamless support to NCG’s clients and employees. Mark Bowles, founder and President of NCG, echoed these sentiments, noting the importance of finding a partner that would uphold their legacy of client care spanning over 25 years in Roanoke. Cantey Tech, headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, is recognized for its comprehensive suite of IT managed services, including consulting, data security, cloud management, and disaster recovery. Their customer-centric approach, backed by local expertise, supports businesses across diverse industries in the southeastern region.

This strategic move positions Cantey Tech as a key player in the MSP sector, enhancing its market presence and reinforcing its commitment to tailored IT solutions that drive client success.
