Littlefish, a UK-based managed IT and cybersecurity services provider, has acquired Storm Technology, an Irish digital transformation company. This acquisition allows both companies to access new markets, with Littlefish aiming to expand its customer base into Ireland, while Storm Technology seeks to deliver its services to the UK market. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1995, Storm Technology operates as a Microsoft business tech consultancy and has grown to over 160 employees across offices in Dublin, Galway, and Belfast. The company has previously expanded its operations through acquisitions, notably Ciall in 2017, and received accolades for its talent development. This new partnership is expected to strengthen Storm’s service portfolio, particularly in managed IT and cybersecurity, benefiting both new and existing clients.

Storm Technology CEO Karl Flannery expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, highlighting how it supports the company’s growth ambitions and facilitates entry into the UK market. He emphasized the importance of maintaining values that have guided Storm since its inception in 1995 and expressed confidence that Littlefish is the right partner to enhance their capabilities.

Littlefish, established in 2003 and now employing nearly 650 people, aims to enhance its Microsoft business solution capabilities through this acquisition. Littlefish CEO Steve Robinson views this partnership as a significant step in expanding their presence and footprint in the market, further enhancing the services offered by both organizations.
